In 2025, the tradition of making yurts, a Turkic nomadic dwelling, and the traditional Turkish craft of «Gaziantep embroidery» were inscribed on the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List. Today, this list includes over 600 intangible values and traditions of humanity, among which is the Crimean Tatar ornament «örnek» (ornament).
