The country’s first women’s mosque opened in Qatar. The initiator of the creation of such a space was the wife of the third Emir of Qatar, Sheikha Moza al-Misned. The mosque hosts Quran courses, spiritual reflection sessions, congregational worship, women’s meetings and much more.
