Luxembourg is the country with the smallest Muslim community in Europe. Officially, their number is only about 3% of the population, although the data on the number of Muslims in Luxembourg varies greatly. Islam was not recognized by the state for a long time. Only in 2011 did Muslims have an official representation — «Shura», and in 2015 they entered into a convention, and this led to the official recognition of the Muslims of the Grand Duchy.
