Uzbekistan Wins Second Gold in the History of Chess Olympiads

The men’s team of Uzbekistan became the winner of the 46th World Chess Olympiad, which took place from September 16 to 27 in Samarkand. In the final round, Uzbekistan won gold, defeating Ukraine with a score of 2.5:1.5. Silver went to India, bronze to Germany. This is Uzbekistan’s second gold in the history of Chess Olympiads after the triumph in 2022.
