Bilyal Mambet was a Crimean Tatar poet, author of more than 10 collections of poems, a collection of legends and a book about Crimean Tatar cuisine. He wrote mainly for children and young people. The poet was an expert in Crimean Tatar folklore, which was reflected in his works. The 90th anniversary of Bilyal Mambet’s birth was celebrated at the I. Gasprinsky Library.
