The “Lumen” cinema hosted a screening of a classic of Crimean Tatar cinema – the 1926 film “Alim”. Since the ban in 1937, the film has been inaccessible to the general public, and after returning to Crimea it could only be seen at isolated spontaneous screenings. The Qaradeniz Production studio, together with the GENÇ ARQADAŞ youth initiative group, made possible the public screening of a new digital restoration of the film, carried out by Ismail Mesitsky and Yusuf Dermendzhi.
