More than 100 people, natives of the villages of Yukary-Karalez, Buyuk-Karalez, and Khodzha-Sala, gathered for the annual traditional village gathering at the foot of Mount Mangup on the shore of a picturesque lake. They began gathering in their native places after returning to their homeland in the late 90s. Crimean Tatars born here, their children, and grandchildren meet to honor the memory of their ancestors and pass on to the new generation a love for their native land.
