Crimean Rivers Have Dried Up – Ecology at Risk

For the first time in 10 years, rivers in southwestern Crimea have dried up, reports the Mash Telegram channel. Due to the lack of precipitation, the Belbek, Chorguna, and Kacha rivers have dried up in some places; their water inflow into the sea is minimal or has completely disappeared. This could negatively impact agriculture, lead to salinization, and alter the soil.
