Ankara said goodbye to Yakup Omeroglu, Chairman of the Eurasian Writers’ Union. He died suddenly on August 16. Yakup Ömeröglu was a prominent literary figure who played an important role in uniting the entire Turkic world. The Union he headed published works by Turkic authors from different countries, including Crimean Tatar ones.
