An evening with Ashik poetry and music – the work of the outstanding medieval poet Ashik Umer, was held in Akmescit, organized by the women’s magazine «Nenkecan», the folk ensemble «Qırım» and the banquet salon «Eshil ada». Guests were introduced to his legendary life and immersed in the world of his poetry. At the evening, poems by Ashik Umer were performed by artists of the Altyn Beshik Theater, as well as musical numbers performed by the “Qırım” ensemble.
