Archaeologists Discovered The Remains Of The Ashlama Saray Palace In Bakhchisarai

Glazed green tiles, remains of water pipes and stone vaults are the findings of archaeologists who were exploring the location of the medieval residence of the Crimean khans, Ashlama-Saray. In 2015-2016, scientists from Sevastopol, together with the Khalikov Institute of Archaeology of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, conducted an archaeological expedition in the Ashlama-Dere valley in search of the remains of the medieval palace. The research materials have been fully processed and are now being prepared for publication.
