During renovation work, books were found in the wall of the Takhtali-Cami Mosque in Kezlev – fragments of an ancient Quran and a textbook written in Arabic script. This was probably an attempt to preserve them during the years of religious persecution. This was reported on social media by Yevpatoria City Council deputy Eldar Ibragimov.
