Akim Dzhemilev lane was opened in the Lugovoye 2 array

In the village of Lugovoye-2 near Aqmescit, a street named after the outstanding choreographer and ballet master Akim Dzhemilev was solemnly opened. At the beginning of the street a commemorative tablet was erected. This is a significant event for the residents of the village. All other streets in the array are named after Russian cities: Arkhangelskaya, Astrakhanskaya, Kostromskaya, etc. These names were given to the streets without the knowledge of the local Crimean Tatars, who mainly inhabit Lugovoye-2. For several years, its residents have been fighting for the streets to be renamed, but the authorities agreed to give Crimean Tatar names to only 4 lanes.
