Muslims from all over Crimea gathered in Kezlev to clean the ancient Cuma-Khan-Cami mosque. Over the years when it was in the hands of a local religious community, the unique 16th-century architectural monument fell into a deplorable state and was essentially used as a dormitory. Muslims from across the peninsula gathered for a large-scale cleanup to purify the shrine and prepare it for repair work.
