Mufti Cami A Mosque Survived Since The Times Of The Ottoman Empire in Kefe

Mufti-Cami, a mosque in Kefe (Feodosia) is the only religious building of Muslims that has survived since the time when the Crimean peninsula was part of the Ottoman Empire. The construction of the mosque began in 1623 and lasted for 16 years. The Istanbul mosques of those times served as a model for the building. The architectural monument has been partially rebuilt and restored more than once, but its dome and minaret have not changed much since the 17th century.
