Anyone who has ever traveled from Karasubazar to Akmesjit or vice versa has surely noticed the white minaret adorned with blue glass. This is the mosque of the village of Yany Burulcha, whose history is closely intertwined with the history of the return of the Crimean Tatars to their homeland. Since the mid-90s, local Crimean Tatars have been building and improving this building with their own efforts, making it the heart of not only the religious but also the cultural life of the village.
