Sins in Islam are divided into major and minor. The Qur’an says: «If you avoid the major sins forbidden to you, We will absolve you of your ˹lesser˺ misdeeds and admit you into a place of honour» (4: 31). In a reliable hadith from Bukhari and Muslim, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke about 7 destructive sins, which, in their severity, go ahead of all others.
