A native of the village of Besit (Yermolayevka) of the Ichkinsky (Soviet) region, Dilyara Kudyakova is 82 years old. During the occupation of Crimea, her entire family, along with the other residents of the village, were taken to Germany by the Germans. Here they had to fight for their lives, to escape the bombing in the forest. After the liberation by Soviet troops, the family who survived after the war and captivity had to go through all the hardships of life in a foreign land in Uzbekistan. Dilyara’s parents did not manage to return home, but their children and grandchildren were able to fulfill their dream.
