Many have seen the beautiful fountain of Aivazovsky on the city embankment of Kefe (Feodosia). It was built in the 1880s, water was supplied to it through the built Feodosia-Subash water pipeline from Subash springs. These sources are the beginning of the Subash River and before the 1917 revolution belonged to the family of the famous artist Aivazovsky
