The Uskut River flows on the South coast, which got its name from the village located on its banks. The river forms a small valley, which is also called the Karasubazar gully. An ancient road from Karasubazar (Belogorsk) to the sea coast passed along it. In the Middle Ages, slaves were driven along this road.
