Kezlev (Yevpatoria) is well-known in the countries of the former union for its mud baths. Lake Moinak has brought the city the fame of the balneological resort. Silt mud of the lake has healing properties. Thousands of people come to Kezlev to improve their health with the help of therapeutic mud. There is even information that in the 1910s the mother of the future king of Afghanistan was treated for infertility in “Moinaki” mud baths, who in 1957 visited Kezlev and performed namaz on the shore of a healing lake.
