Kapsikhor — a hospitable valley of orchards and vineyards

The village Morskoye used to be called Kapsikhor. It is located near Sudak in the Kapsikhor valley on the Shelen River.
Formerly, Crimean Tatars who lived in these places treated the sick here with sand baths, grew cereals, tobacco, vegetables, fruits and grapes. The Crimean Tatar history of the village was interrupted in 1944. And on August 21, 1945 Kapsikhor was renamed to Morskoye.
