Crimea through the eyes of travelers: how Jean de Reyly saw Bakhchisarai in 1803

“You won’t find such a landscape anywhere else!” wrote the French traveler Jean de Reyly, who visited the Crimea in 1803, about Bakhchisarai. Apparently, he was delighted with this city.
