Baybuga River: From Kefe’s Main Water Artery to «Feodosia’s Sewage Ditch»

The southeastern coast of Crimea is poor in rivers, so in the city of Kefe, every drop of water has been valued since ancient times. The most important water artery of the city was the small Baybuga River, mentioned even in ancient sources. However, in recent decades, the river has lost its significance for the city, leading to its catastrophic pollution.
