The Lipkas are an ethno-territorial community of Tatars from Belarus, Lithuania and Poland. They were formed in the 14th-15th centuries in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania from people who entered the service from the Golden Horde, later from the Great Horde and the Crimean Khanate.
