The Black Sea is more polluted than the Mediterranean. There’s almost twice as much garbage as in the Mediterranean. These are the results of the joint Black Sea studies of the EU/UNDP project, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. More than 80% of the found marine debris is plastic, namely plastic bottles, wrappers from sweets, plastic bags.
