French scientists conducted a DNA analysis of parts of the skull of a human who lived 36-37 thousand years ago in the Crimea. The resultsobtained were compared with data from a DNA bank and it was concluded that the cave “Crimeans” were the first Europeans. The researchwas published in the journal Nature Ecology and Evolution.
