The 100th anniversary of the birth of twice Hero of the Soviet Union Amet-Khan Sultan was celebrated in the city of Zhukovsky, Moscow Region. Here on tMayakovsky, 13 street, where the legendary test pilot lived, a memorial board was opened. The initiator and sponsor of the event was the Moscow community of the Crimean Tatars. The famous Crimean Tatar sculptor Ayder Aliyev became the author of the bronze bas-relief.
