The Bakhchisaray reservoir has almost completely shallowed

The Bakhchisaray reservoir or Lake Egiz-Oba was built in 1935, its maximum depth was about 17 meters, and the average — 12. The lake was filled by the Kacha River. Today the reservoir has become shallow. Huge cracks have appeared in the place where there was once water. When and how the water issue in Crimea will be solved is unknown.
