For several months the Crimean peninsula has been suffering from a water shortage. The Crimean authorities are trying to look for additional sources for water supply to the population. Rains did not fill the Crimean reservoirs. A high alert mode has also been imposed in Aqyar (Sevastopol). The authorities say there is only 3 months of water left.
