For centuries, coffee has been a favorite drink of Crimean Tatars. There were a lot of coffee houses all over the peninsula, where people came not only for a fragrant drink. Coffee houses were a meeting place for friends, reading books, making deals, etc. One of these coffee houses was located in the center of Sudak and belonged to Seitkhalil Effendi. The famous collector Ibrahim Ibragimov has told about the establishment of his great-grandfather, whose building has survived to this day.
