Muslim In The Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is considered to be one of the most atheistic countries in Europe. According to a census conducted in 2011, 34.5% of Czech citizens do not refer themselves to any religion or church. The largest number of believers in this country are Catholics. Muslims make up about 0.2% of the Czech population — there are about 22 thousand of them. Historically, the influence of Islam on the culture of the Czech lands was small. However, Islam is an officially registered religion.
