A monument to an outstanding Crimean Tatar public and political figure Abdureshid Mediyev will appear in Crimea. It will be installed in Qarasubazar (Belogorsk), where Mediyev lived and worked. The issue of installing the monument is being solved by the organizing committee, which, after several years of appeals to the authorities, achieved the allocation of a site in the center of Qarasubazar.
