A monument to a prominent social and political figure Abdureshid Mediev was opened in Karasubazar (Belogorsk). For several years, activists sought to install it and raised funds. Eskender Edimov became the author of Mediev’s bronze sculpture. The 2.5 m high monument was erected on Lunacharsky street.
