In recent years, the Muslim community of the village of Mazanka near Aqmescit has been experiencing an unprecedented upsurge. Through the efforts of local Muslims, the mosque here has been improved and an iftarhane has been built, where a collective breaking of the fast for 200-300 people will be held daily throughout the month.
