How a Russian learned Crimean Tatar

A 37-year-old Gleb Zhunyaev is Russian by nationality, but he decided to learn Crimean Tatar language for himself. The language of the indigenous people of Crimea attracted Gleb with its wealth, harmony and melody. First, our hero got interested in the toponymy of the peninsula, he looked for translations of the old names of villages and cities. Later, on his phone he watched videos and sketches in Crimean Tatar language made by the “Qaradeniz production” studio, then became a subscriber of the children’s magazine “Armanchiq”, and then he independently and persistently studied textbooks by himself. Today Gleb speaks Crimean Tatar fluently and shares the secrets of his success.
