November 12 was the 165th birthday of the «father» of the famous Miskhor mermaid, an Estonian sculptor Amandus Heinrich Adamson. Miskhor mermaid is one of the most famous monuments of Crimea. But not many people know that this is the fourth bronze embodiment of the Crimean Tatar legend about Arzy-qiz. The fates of the previous three sculptures are no less sad than the legend itself.
