In Crimea, food prices are rising. Krymstat reports that the cost of the minimum set of food products has increased by 4.7% since the beginning of the year. The Sevastopol authorities generally call the prices in the region the highest throughout the country. Among the products that increased in price the most were vegetables, fruits, sugar, butter, chicken and eggs, and dairy products. Despite this, in the third quarter of this year, the cost of living in Crimea was reduced — due to a decrease in the cost of some food products.
