Crimean Tatar bard Asan Faytondzhi dies of Covid-19

In Crimea, at the age of 65, a famous Crimean Tatar bard, author of more than 100 songs, Asan Faytondzhi, passed away. A builder by profession and a singer by vocation, he wrote about what worried his people, about our Motherland and deportation. He composed and performed his songs in Crimean Tatar and Russian languages. Asan Faytondzhi was a real fighter for justice and truth. Therefore, his songs touched peoples’ hearts. Asan Faytondzhi’s life ended abruptly. He contracted the coronavirus and after a few days he was gone. Crimeantatars.club expresses condolences to the Faytondzhi’s family.
