Now on the territory of the airport there are flights, parachute jumps, and an aircraft modeling laboratory. Aviation club employees and activists oppose the construction. And not only because it will deprive them of the ability to fly. According to ecologists, due to the housing development of the Zavodskoye airfield, Aqmescit (Simferopol) may simply «suffocate».
