A coin, rare in this region, was found on Taman — beshlyk of the last Crimean khan Shakhin Heray. This was reported by the press service of the Institute of Archeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. According to the archaeologists, the coin could have been dropped by one of the soldiers of Shahin Geray when crossing the Kuban along the ancient Phanagoria road.
