Tatar Bach Shamil Sharifullin

The composer Shamil Sharifullin is called a Tatar Bach. At the age of 26 he wrote a concert for the a cappella choir «Munadzhaty», thanks to which he was acknowledged as a classic of national choral music. And Sharifullin also became interested in Crimean Tatar folklore, due to which two choral pieces appeared — «At the four corners of Karasubazar» and «Kaitarma», which were often performed in the choir of the Kazan conservatory.
