Midat Khalilov, choreographer and founder of the Crimean Tatar dance ensemble «Atesh,» felt an irresistible pull towards dance since childhood, despite being born into a family of doctors. His path is a story of devotion to an art that became his calling and mission. Under his leadership, the ensemble «Atesh,» which has 11 branches across Crimea, not only develops but also actively popularizes Crimean Tatar folk dance, making it vibrant, recognizable, and beloved.
