From early childhood, Ava Suleimanova’s father instilled love for chess. At the age of 5, she knew all the rules, and played with older opponents. And at 17 she became the winner of the women’s tournament. Ava-khanim is the only Crimean Tatar woman with the title of International Grandmaster.
