Enver Kalafatov from a simple electrician to a scientist and an inventor

Enver Kalafatov — an associate Professor at the Department of Mechanization of the Crimean Agrarian and Technological University, Ph.D. He has published more than 50 scientific and methodological works, as well as 30 certificates and patents rights for inventions written by himself. In 1974, he invented and tested a cotton picker in Uzbekistan. Besides, his development for desiccation and defoliation of cotton is relevant today. He was the first person to go in the cotton fields with a high-voltage installation (10,000 V). After returning to his Homeland, Enver-bey continued his scientific activities. For over 10 years he has been developing a new installation that would use solar energy for drying agricultural products.
