Romania is home to one of the most numerous and active diasporas of Crimean Tatars who have managed to preserve their language, traditions and folklore. One of the brightest representatives of the Romanian diaspora is a singer Edwin Eddy, whose repertoire includes many songs in the Crimean Tatar language.
