Composer and conductor Refat Ashirov celebrates his 80th birthday. For more than a quarter of a century, he was a permanent musical director of the “Haytarma” Crimean Tatar song and dance ensemble. He is called the keeper of the traditions that were laid down by our outstanding predecessors.
