Connection with the Motherland children’s toy and sherbent

Each Crimean Tatar family survived the brutal deportation of 1944, a long journey to a foreign land, where unsanitary, inhuman conditions, hunger and thousands of deaths awaited them. Each family has its own special story related to this day. For the Osmanov family during the years of exile, a toy and sherbenti (head cover) became a connection with the motherland. The history of family relics was told by a collector Ibrahim Ibrahimov.
