94-year-old Şayzer Resul, residing in Istanbul, preserves the legacy of her remarkable ancestors. Her mother — Saliha Acı Fazıl, a renowned poet and folklorist in the diaspora, and her uncles — prominent activists Müstecib Ülküsal and Necib Acı Fazıl. From childhood, Şayzer hanım was immersed in her native language and stories of her ancestral homeland.
