The Kypchak Clan

The Kypchaks or Cumans were a Turkic people who inhabited the Eurasian steppes, including Crimea, before their conquest by the Mongols in the 13th century. They participated in the ethnogenesis of the Crimean Tatars and became the ancestors of one of the 4 most noble clans of the Crimean Khanate – the Kypchak clan. Based on the project by Oleksa Gaivoronsky.
